yet

For the summer, we are playing outdoors: venue may change.

Please check here for whether play is likely to happen. The predicted weather will displayed. I will endeavour to keep it up to date, but please look at when this box was last updated and use common sense.

The traffic lights on the right will display red if not happening, amber if I don't know, green if it is happening

Torch Relay Saturday 19th May, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
As part of the Torch arriving in Taunton on 21st May, local sports clubs are giving demonstrations on the High Street on Saturday 19th May, between 10 and 4.
See us there and have a chat. We are opposite the old Que Pasa. Space is tight, but we will also try to demonstrate volleyball.
Taunton win division two of the EDVA.
League 18th March 2012
Taunton won 5 - 0 at home against Exeter University and in so doing win Division 2.
Taunton knew they had to win this match by at least 4 - 1 to clinch the division. Despite the difference in table positions, the match was incredibly close. Taunton started solidly, but were a bit jittery after this. This was most evident on the third set, in which University had 3 set points at one time.
In the end, Taunton won, and with it, they took the league.
Congratulations.

(seasonal variations may apply)

We are a friendly volleyball club based in Taunton, Somerset, U.K. We cater for all levels of players, from beginners to experts.

We train Juniors to nurture volleyball within Taunton & surrounding areas. The younger Juniors start at 5 p.m. and the older at 6. Older Juniors can also turn up at our adult sessions.

Adult training is every Tuesday at Wellsprings Leisure Centre, normally starting at 7:00 (but check for any notices). There is a membership scheme: adults pay £30 for the year and then £4 per session; unemployed and students pay £20 membership and £3 per session. If not a member then the cost is £6 and £5 respectively.

We try to participate in outdoor tournaments during the summer, which are always fun (not necessarily for the volleyball), and allow less experienced players the chance of competitive volleyball.

When training/playing outdoors (also at Wellsprings), the cost will be £2 per session or £10 for the whole summer.

If you are interested in playing volleyball and live in the Taunton area then please contact us.
